Frank J. Welch, MD, MSPH, FACPM is the Medical Director for the Louisiana Public Health Immunization Program which provides medical oversight, education and information for vaccination services in Louisiana, as well as administers the Vaccines for Children and 317 other vaccine programs. Dr. Welch also supervises the activities of medical professionals engaged in the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases, as well as investigations of vaccine-preventable diseases.
